Ah, thanks jacks. Actually I can't really remember Thank Your Lucky Stars very well, so I don't think it was one I watched regularly, but certainly familiar with the phrase.

Actually Prag, I've just checked, it was "Spin a Disc" that was incorporated in TYLS. Not Jukebox Jury, that was presented by stuffy David Jacobs with different celeb panels every week, just watched one from 1960 crikey!!!!!!!

Thanks jacks and my apols to divi - it must be my childhood lust for Cathy getting in the way! I seem to remember JJB as a programme in it's own right and wonder if this might have been before or after TYLS?

I've just been googling (now I've got to clean it up). It was Janice Nicholls who said "Oi'll give it foive" on Thank your lucky Stars & Cathy Mcgowan presented RSG. Darnit! Should have made a quiz about it...... but then again p'raps not. BTW, Jukebox Jury was a feature of TYLS.

Cathy McGowan was a co=presenter on Ready, Steady, Go" (I think!) and they used to award points for a few of the audience to mime to a song, and it was Cathy's phrase. Juke Box Jury, so far as I remember, only determined whether or not a record might be a Hit or a Miss and didn't award points, unless somebody has a more reliable memory (not difficult!)

It was Janice Nicholls who "gave it foive" on Juke Box Jury, wot's she got to do with Cathy McGowan? Good quiz tho Prag, I'd forgotten all I ever knew!

I just knew you'd love it jacks - and I see therodent's hiding under the shed again! I reckon 50 or more on this one is a good score, but don't worry the quizzes are less challenging after this one }:>

That was a real stinking horror. You're a ratbag Prag, all those square thingies & me up to my eyes with a VAT return. Good quiz tho' well researched as usual, never'eard of a flippin' rood. I'll give it foive & an E for effort.
