Might be fun, johana, but Triviala rules demand that questions are asked - on the basis that it isn't a quiz without them.

Good quiz. Just when I started thinking "This is really easy!" it all went completely pear-shaped!

Excellent, many thanks Boodle, and glad the quiz is being enjoyed - and especially happy for giving the humble lemon squeezer a greater prominence!

I saw that, but I think it is women's football, so I don't think he will be interested in that. Besides I have booked the tele for Coro! (Sad little soul that I am!)
  • Prasutagus said on 20-Jul-2012, 4 years ago
Sorry choir2, but England are playing Brazil tonight as well - better get him some beer in!

Got caught with the lemon juicer - even though I was looking for it!! Nice to have some good quizzes to do - hubby stuck in front of the tele watching golf and the tour de France. Seems to be wall to wall sport at the moment and the Games haven't started yet!! That's my rant over for today!
  • PhilipJ said on 20-Jul-2012, 4 years ago
My (my mum's actually) lemon juicer doesn't look much like that. It has a base and sits on the sideboard. Good, easy quiz tho.

I got one of those juice squeezing things, I'm a sucker for gadgets so got that one right. As for the teapot, I'm a right slut making tea 'fraid it's a teabag in the mug. Welcome back moo course I missed ya.

Welcome back, boy have you got some quizzes to catch up on - give the missing lyrics series from 1963 onwards a try, you'll enjoy.

Very clever re spatula, can't say I have ever seen a lemon squeezer as you describe, I lead a very sheltered life! please friends call me Win, although I don't very often .I am still trying to write my first quiz.
  • Prasutagus said on 20-Jul-2012, 4 years ago
I wonder if mooms will be back this weekend, it's been awfully quiet without him!
  • Prasutagus said on 20-Jul-2012, 4 years ago
I thought the spatula would catch you out, that's why I put it in! It's wooden, the head is 'fluted' all round and the rest is the handle. Halve the lemon, push it in and then twist round while maintaining pressure on the lemon - juice everywhere! As for the teapot, there's rinsing, warming and swirling procedures to take into account as well as removing and replacing the lid - all highly skilled operations!

Me too, Winifred, did not recognise the lemon squeezer and as far as the barbecue is concerned the blokes can have it with pleasure!!! Good quiz as always, Prag - ta muchly - June

So glad you put this one in Prag I was beginning to lose the will to live with some of the others. Just love your silhouette quizzes.
