    Sorry deejaycee81, though it's my belief (no-one else's though) that Hans was a lousy speller and had his works translated by a poor linguist! As for Biggles, the question doesn't ask for his service history, just in which of the selection he served!!:-) And as for you jacks, behave at the back or I'll have you sat at the front where I can reach you with flying board rubber! :-D

    Lovely quiz Prag despite all those "ghastly bloomers" LOL. I also loved Enid Blyton.

    Hans AndersEn (not Anderson), and Biggles started off in the RFC, joining the RAF in later stories, but the Princess "ON the pea" is apparently a literal translation of the more usual "AND the pea". These apart, interesting quiz.
