Summary
This is an encompassing role providing support to the Director in this new well funded casual online gaming start up, operational since Jan 2009.
Triviala.com specialises in online trivia quizzes and word and puzzle games where players can win cash prizes from our £5,000 a month prize fund. Triviala has Global expansion plans to dominate this category. We are offering to brands a unique way to engage with customers and we are looking for a professional sales person to bring this message to the market.
You will be an early team member as we begin to ramp up our operations and recruitment process. We are currently five people with significant outsourcing operations based in trendy offices with superb views over London.
You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and generating new business with a number of major brands across the UK, so in order to be considered for this rewarding challenge, you must have an established network of contacts in digital sales. You should be comfortable pitching to medium and large business and you will be involved in the full cycle of pitching from cold calling, attending client meetings, presentations, generating market awareness, closing sales and preparing sales forecasts as well as creating additional revenue generating strategies.
You should possess the following skills:
- Passionate and knowledgeable in all aspects of the Internet you can communicate fluidly in this discipline.
- Presentable and professional at all times
- Excellent communication skills including clear and precise written reporting documentation.
- Budget management and forecasting, lead management and conclusion.
- Development of a sales strategy to build on existing ideas
- Creative thinking ability to contribute to new revenue generating ideas for Triviala.com
- Ability to plan and organize the working day and perform in either online, telephone or face to face sales
- Interpersonal Skills - Ability to persuade, engage and convince along with tenacity and charisma.
- Written Communication- Effective communication skills including clear and precise written reporting documentation.
- Motivation - Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.
- Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Puts in hours as needed as requested by management.
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate an understanding of commercial online pricing models and ad networks with knowledge of Rich Media and video advertising and experience of creative advertising campaigns from the perspective of either a Publisher or Agency.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or ExperienceDesirableDesirable: Degree educated along with a min 2 years experience OR 2 to 5 years experience in a similar Internet sales related environment.
Must be able to speak and write fluent English.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, E-mail and MS Office Suite including Powerpoint.
