After months of speculation, rumours and trying to keep their unconfirmed relationship secret….Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart tell the world they are a couple at long last!

The stars of the Twilight films who play the ‘irrevocably in love’ vampire Edward Cullen and mortal Bella Swan have come clean about their relationship which they have both denied for some time. The attention surrounding the lovebirds started when filming began for the second film in the saga ‘New Moon’. Since late 2008, they have tried to avoid all public appearances together as to not rouse suspicions…but we all secretly knew right?! They have constantly reiterated they were ‘just good friends’ but heart throb Pattinson revealed all on the red carpet at this years BAFTA’s.

The former Harry Potter star said: “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.

‘We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy.”

Wow! How long has he been itching to say that?! He must’ve also been very proud of his American girlfriend as she won the Rising Star award at the BAFTA ceremony. Despite not mentioning Pattinson in her acceptance speech, she did thank all the hardcore Twilight fans who voted for her as this specific award was voted for by the public. It was no surprise to see her take home the accolade as the Twilight saga is most definitely the phenomenon of the moment. However, I’m sure there are many a broken hearted teen (and a few adults…ahem) who will shed a tear over the recent announcement… but there’s always Taylor Lautner I suppose!

The mystery over the death of the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson continues as his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, pleads not guilty to being charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Under the laws of the Californian state, if convicted he could face up to 4 years behind bars. Prosecution are stating that Murray: “did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson”.  But by pleading not guilty, it’s been said he should expect a fight from the rest of the Jackson clan as they still believe there is more to this case involving the physician and possibly other suspects.

One of Jackson’s sisters LaToya released a statement immediately after the hearing stating that she will continue to fight until ‘proper justice is served’. The rest of the family including the family lawyer feels that the charge is not enough and it is simply ‘a whitewash’. As more details come to light, Dr. Murray has been accused of giving Michael Jackson an overdose of general anasthetic called ‘propofol’ which has also been called the ‘milk of amnesia’, plus another two sedatives. However, the correct protocol is said to have not been followed. Jackson suffered from chronic insomnia and he personally hired the physician to be his personal doctor in preparation for his UK comeback concerts. Reports have shown that the singer was in good health before his untimely death and it was the cocktail of drugs that intoxicated him and caused his heart to stop.

Michael Jackson fans all over the world are crying out for justice and want to know the truth behind his death. Tickets for his comeback gigs sold out in record timimg as people anticipated the return of one of the world’s greatest performers. Katie Price has married Celebrity Big Brother winner, cage fighter Alex Reid in a 22 minuite ceremony in Las Vegas. The mother of three only divorced ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer Peter Andre in May 2009.

The newlyweds have been dating for seven months and has been a rollercoaster on/off saga. When Price appeared for the second time on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, in her exit interview she publicly dumped Alex on air. After saying she had done “a lot of thinking in the jungle” she went onto say “I wanted to be on my own, I don’t need a relationship. I hope we can remain friends”. Ant and Dec then asked her if Alex was still her boyfriend, she simply said “I’m not with him”.

Some people have said Katie has wed the CBB cross dressing winner for popularity and media attention. However, her agent has published a statement claiming that: “Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other.” Hmmm, well this is publicity hungry Jordan we are talking about and I’m not that convinced, are you?

In an interview with OK magazine only published on Tuesday, Price had said that she will be having children with Alex and that they would be “together forever”.

According to reports, the couple didn’t allow any filming or photography to take place during the ceremony. Although ITV2’s cameras were there as they also screen Price’s relality TV show. So no doubt there will be at least some footage or a predictable OK front cover story! Let’s just wait and see…

Best friend of Moss Sadie Frost should be giving herself a pat on the back as it was her that introduced the soon to be newlyweds backstage at a gig.

The lastest star to pop the question is David Walliams. The comedy actor has had numerous flings over the years with women such as Abi Titmuss, Denise Van Outen and Lauren Budd but it seems he is now a one woman man after proposing to catwalk queen Lara Stone. The dutch model is said to be ecstatic after David flew out to Mexico and got down on one knee. The whirlwind romance only started in September and the couple  have tried to avoid public appearences together. Stone has been on the cover of British Vogue and is the new face of Louis Vuitton’s campaign. Being one of the most sought after models, Walliams must be pinching himself!

Walliams confirmed the news telling The Sun: “Yes, it’s true, we’re engaged and blissfully happy”.

Other celebs in love is jazz crooner Michael Buble who proposed to his girlfriend, Luisana Lopilato, an Argentinian actress. The lucky lady appeared in video for Buble’s hit “Just Haven’t Met You Yet”.

Jonathan Ross has announced he’s leaving his job as a radio and TV presenter at the BBC.

The presenter who has worked with the cooperation for 13 years decided not to renegotiate his contract which is due to end in July.

Ross announced he would be quitting his BBC1 talk show, his Radio 2 Saturday morning programme and his late night film programme, but will be able to continue to host the BAFTA Film Awards and other specials.

Although Ross, 49, was suspended in 2008 over a series of phone calls made to the actor Andrew Sachs on Russell Brand Radio 2 show, he’s announcement has come at an unexpected time. The phone scandal “had blown over and he was getting on with things at the BBC.”

His salary a reported £18 million over the last three years has also caused controversy and he was expected to take a pay cut following other BBC stars. The presenter has said his decision is not “financially motivated”.

In a statement the presenter said: “While there I have had a wonderful time working with the BBC, and am very proud of the shows I have made while there”. Jonathan Ross is thought to already have offers from US TV and the UK’s other channels ITV and Channel 4.

Ross has thanked his fans posting on Twitter: “Thanks for all the kind words about my decision. I feel sad that I can’t keep making the shows so many of you love.””

The couple only met 3 and a half months ago but are clearly loved up and have been inseperable ever since; Katy even managing to brave the recent cold and snowy weather in London! It seems Katy had been dazzled by Brand when they filmed a cameo together for the film ‘Get Him to the Greek’ in September saying: “My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I’m happy- I get a bit childlike”.

The Queen of pop, Lady Gaga met the real Queen Elizabeth at the Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool after closing the famous show.

As expected, Gaga wore a show stopping outfit, a red PVC Elizabethan-esque dress with red sequinned eye make up and an over 20 foot train trailing behind her dress. She performed an unreleased track from her new album ‘The Fame Monster’ called ‘Speechless’ which she has openly said is penned for her beloved father who helped her get over a cocaine addiction before she was famous.

Lady Gaga is definately enjoying her stop over here in London after performing on the X Factor, Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball and also making a stop at a traditional English pub in North Acton for a quick drink!

She says on her Twitter: “Nothin like a whiskey, fish + chips in the UK to prepare for the Queen”.

Others performing alongside the crazy singer were Britian’s Got Talent dance troop winners Diversity, Miley Cyrus, LuLu, last years X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Bette Midler and opera singer Katherine Jenkins.

Gordon Brown got his famous blonde actresses tangled up yesterday after calling Reese Witherspoon ‘Renee’, confusing her for another blonde haired movie star Renee Zellweger.

He says “I’m very grateful that Renée Witherspoon is leading this campaign. She spoke movingly at the funeral of Anthony Minghella and I welcome her to the House today.”

It was in fact Renee Zellweger who attended the funeral of the film director last year.

Witherspoon was in the London, speaking at the House of Commons as a key speaker for more Government involvement for women suffering domestic violence. The Oscar winning actress is backing a joint campaign with Avon and the charity Refuge to raise awareness on this issue. 

She says “There remains what can seem like an impenetrable wall of silence around violence and we must all play a role in breaking this silence” and believes the problem is a ”pandemic” across the world.

Robbie Williams has denied he is engaged to his long term girlfriend Ayda Field, despite making an off-the-cuff proposal on an Australian radio show.

While congratulation messages poured in over the show, Robbie later published a statement on his official website saying:

“Hey all. We are not engaged. Rob” 

To add to the confusion though, Robbie’s mum fuelled the speculation exclaiming she was “really pleased…and has always wanted a daughter in law”. But it seems Robbie has now settled the rumours!

It seems the ex Take That star is still smitten with his girlfriend of 3 years telling Jonathan Ross “I was introduced to Ayda and things just changed. She’s a wonderful person and I’m in love. She’s really broody and I’m getting there”.

Singing sensation Susan Boyle created history yesterday when her album became the fastest selling debut by a woman.

The Britain’s Got Talent star described her success as “fantastic” when I Dreamed A Dream entered the charts at No1 after shifting more than 400,000 copies in the UK alone.

Susan Boyle’s record is now the best selling debut in UK chart history ahead of Arctic Monkeys and Leona Lewis.

Simon Cowell, who masterminded her remarkable rise from obscurity, said: “I’m incredibly proud of Susan and delighted for her.

“This success couldn’t have happened to a more deserving or lovelier person. She did it her way and made a dream come true. Susan Boyle has broken the rules. Her story is like a Hollywood film but this time it’s real life and a really talented, nice lady who has won.”
