After months of speculation, rumours and trying to keep their unconfirmed relationship secret….Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart tell the world they are a couple at long last!

The stars of the Twilight films who play the ‘irrevocably in love’ vampire Edward Cullen and mortal Bella Swan have come clean about their relationship which they have both denied for some time. The attention surrounding the lovebirds started when filming began for the second film in the saga ‘New Moon’. Since late 2008, they have tried to avoid all public appearances together as to not rouse suspicions…but we all secretly knew right?! They have constantly reiterated they were ‘just good friends’ but heart throb Pattinson revealed all on the red carpet at this years BAFTA’s.

The former Harry Potter star said: “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.

‘We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy.”

Wow! How long has he been itching to say that?! He must’ve also been very proud of his American girlfriend as she won the Rising Star award at the BAFTA ceremony. Despite not mentioning Pattinson in her acceptance speech, she did thank all the hardcore Twilight fans who voted for her as this specific award was voted for by the public. It was no surprise to see her take home the accolade as the Twilight saga is most definitely the phenomenon of the moment. However, I’m sure there are many a broken hearted teen (and a few adults…ahem) who will shed a tear over the recent announcement… but there’s always Taylor Lautner I suppose!

Do you know your Cullens from your Blacks? Alice’s secret power to Jane’s? Who said what in which book?! We’ve got SO many Twilight quizzes for you to play you won’t know where to start… so I’ll give you a head start! Find them all right here.

Enjoy!

Katie Price has married Celebrity Big Brother winner, cage fighter Alex Reid in a 22 minuite ceremony in Las Vegas. The mother of three only divorced ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer Peter Andre in May 2009.

The newlyweds have been dating for seven months and has been a rollercoaster on/off saga. When Price appeared for the second time on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, in her exit interview she publicly dumped Alex on air. After saying she had done “a lot of thinking in the jungle” she went onto say “I wanted to be on my own, I don’t need a relationship. I hope we can remain friends”. Ant and Dec then asked her if Alex was still her boyfriend, she simply said “I’m not with him”.

Some people have said Katie has wed the CBB cross dressing winner for popularity and media attention. However, her agent has published a statement claiming that: “Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other.” Hmmm, well this is publicity hungry Jordan we are talking about and I’m not that convinced, are you?

In an interview with OK magazine only published on Tuesday, Price had said that she will be having children with Alex and that they would be “together forever”.

According to reports, the couple didn’t allow any filming or photography to take place during the ceremony. Although ITV2’s cameras were there as they also screen Price’s relality TV show. So no doubt there will be at least some footage or a predictable OK front cover story! Let’s just wait and see…

2010 set be the gloomiest year ever?

2009 was the year of unemployment, busting banks and a wet summer that didn’t see the sun put his hat for long at all.

But as Britain continues to face the ‘big freeze’ and the coldest spell recorded for 20 years, it’s looking like a gloomy start to 2010. Over 1000 people from the UK and Ireland took part in a survey conducted by Triviala.com revealing that over the last decade, 30% asked were not looking forward to 2010 and cannot see the current economy taking a positive turn or recovering from the country’s state of recession.

Around a third of people said that they were basing their New Years resolutions around saving money with the usual promises of eating less chocolate, going to the gym more and curbing our bad habits taking a back seat.

Scott O Donnell, spokesman for Triviala.com said: “its not surprising the survey suggests 75% of people will be using more online discount vouchers in the coming year. We are all looking to the web for entertainment and ways to save.”

The survey also revealed that while more than half of the adults asked were looking to be taking less holidays this year, they were also expecting another rainy summer in the UK.

big freeze

However, we aren’t expecting 2010 to be completely full of doom and gloom as it seems the British public are feeling positive about our sporting stars and events this year. Still riding high on England’s 2009 Ashes win, Jenson Button with his F1 victory and the medal winning rising stars of the 2008’s Beijing Olympics, a staggering 70% of people are feeling positive and holding out for more sporting success this year. As we all know, nothing beats watching Wimbledon on ‘Murray Mount’ and cheering on England at the pub during the World Cup. The stresses of work and financial worries are put aside for those 90 minutes.

So whilst we have come to the end of the noughties and started the year knee deep in snow, all is still not lost! 2010 could be the year for change- let’s hope for more sporting celebrations with gold medals to boot and fingers crossed we are brought a hot, hot summer after surviving a icy cold winter.

Jonathan Ross has announced he’s leaving his job as a radio and TV presenter at the BBC.

The presenter who has worked with the cooperation for 13 years decided not to renegotiate his contract which is due to end in July.

Ross announced he would be quitting his BBC1 talk show, his Radio 2 Saturday morning programme and his late night film programme, but will be able to continue to host the BAFTA Film Awards and other specials.

Although Ross, 49, was suspended in 2008 over a series of phone calls made to the actor Andrew Sachs on Russell Brand Radio 2 show, he’s announcement has come at an unexpected time. The phone scandal “had blown over and he was getting on with things at the BBC.”

His salary a reported £18 million over the last three years has also caused controversy and he was expected to take a pay cut following other BBC stars. The presenter has said his decision is not “financially motivated”.

In a statement the presenter said: “While there I have had a wonderful time working with the BBC, and am very proud of the shows I have made while there”. Jonathan Ross is thought to already have offers from US TV and the UK’s other channels ITV and Channel 4.

Ross has thanked his fans posting on Twitter: “Thanks for all the kind words about my decision. I feel sad that I can’t keep making the shows so many of you love.””

Ahh we’re going to miss Jonathan Ross, Friday nights won’t be the same :(

Kate Moss’ Skinny Comments Cause Outrage

Model Kate Moss has been criticised by camapigners after making some outrageous comments about being skinny.

In an interview with fashion website WWD, Moss claimed one of her mottos for life was: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.”

Eating disorder charity Beat described the comments as “dangerous” and “very unhelpful” for sufferers of anorexia and bulimia.

A spokeswoman for Beat told the BBC it was “a very unfortunate phrase” particularly as it was widely used on pro-anorexia websites.

“She probably doesn’t realise how dangerous such comments can be. It’s difficult enough for young people who are struggling to beat eating disorders, without comments like this which are very unhelpful,” she said.

Do you think this was irresponsible of Kate Moss?

Or do you think she is still the queen of fashion?

We have plenty of Triviala fashion quizzes on the site for those of you that need your fix.

OR you could just go onto Triviala.com and try some of our movies quizzes once you have watched the film!

FoxPop will launch with the DVD release of “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” on Dec 1.

Other films slated to receive the FoxPop treatment include “500 Days of Summer” and “Jennifer’s Body.”

Two lucky Lottery ticketholders will become instant multi-millionaires if their claims are verified by the National Lottery operator Camelot.

The winners beat odds of 1 in 76,275,360 to each scoop more than 45.5 million pounds after winning the EuroMillions lottery on Friday.

It is not known if the winners are part of a syndicate, but if they bought their tickets individually, they will have the same financial wealth as celebrities such as TV chef Jamie Oliver and film star Michael Caine, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

The three largest lottery prizes won in Britain were all won on the EuroMillions.

The winning numbers were 11, 19, 34, 43 and 45. The Lucky Star numbers were 5 and 9.

If one person, rather than a syndicate, owns either ticket it will be the UK’s biggest individual lottery win.

Much-loved EastEnders star Barbara Windsor is to leave Albert Square after more than 15 years in the soap.

The 72-year-old actress, who plays the nation’s favourite landlady Peggy Mitchell, will call time on her life in Walford next year.

Triviala players love the soap, and have created many Eastenders quizzes to play, so I’m sure the news will leave some people upset!

Barbara Windsor

National treasure Windsor is also known to generations for her roles in the Carry On movies, and we have some fun Triviala quizzes about those too.

She has said she would be sad to leave but wants to spend more time with her husband.

The BBC’s controller of drama production, John Yorke, said: “To most of the British public Barbara IS EastEnders, and it’s almost impossible to imagine Albert Square without her.

“For 15 years she’s given her heart and soul to EastEnders – she’s been a consummate professional, a national treasure and a joy to work alongside. We will all miss her hugely – both as a character, and as a friend.”
